A 6-day mid-range safari through Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and the Maasai Mara. Highlights include Big Five game drives, a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, a guided walk on Crescent Island and an authentic Maasai village visit. You stay at Sopa lodges throughout, with all meals included.

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by our representative (or picked up from your Nairobi hotel), meet your driver-guide for a safari briefing and drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive, check in and have lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, then head out on an afternoon game drive. You spend two nights at the lodge on a full-board basis.
Spend a full day in the park on game drives, with picnic lunch boxes or a hot lunch at the lodge. Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya is known for its large elephant herds and its views of Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park's plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species, and the western section is dominated by Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha, with lunch en route in Nairobi. On arrival, check in at your lodge, where giraffes, hippos, waterbuck and monkeys wander the grounds. Relax at the lodge, then take an afternoon boat ride and visit Crescent Island before dinner.
After breakfast, check out and depart for the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure with a private game drive, then return for dinner. You spend two nights here on a full-board basis.
Spend a full day in the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Elephant and buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands impala and Thomson's gazelle can be seen together with their attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal. The Mara is the northern part of the Serengeti ecosystem and hosts vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra from July to October. Lesser-known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, eland and many small mammals complete a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife. All meals and your overnight stay are at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a game drive en route to a Maasai village, where you can experience the culture and traditions of the Maasai people, including traditional singing and dancing. Then depart for Nairobi, arriving in time for a farewell lunch. Your driver-guide drops you at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport in time for your flight home.
